have been dry on inspiration/motivation to write any entries lately.. that is until i have watched..

I was absolutely speechless while watching the show... coz I focused on holding my half digested meal in where it was suppose to be, my stomach.

The show was so bad that it was juz plain NASEATING! The film was "flimed" through the eyes of a hand held camera with an idiot holding it . People who have watched Blair Witch will know what I am talking about.

If you want to experience motion sickness w/o getting on a car, boat or plane, go watch the movie!

Tim, zr and phua all went to the toilet halfway through~ I had to squat to keep my food down..

It was funny at the ending though~ since it ended abruptly (like all crappy movies). I could hear ppl cursing and swearing ard me~ haha~ someone actually shouted out loud "CCB"~!

Was checking out the bike forum when I saw a new thread of someone who had just passed away due to an accident~ checking it out, I was shocked to find out that the victim was actually an acquaintance I occasionally went to school with on the MRT during my JC days...

After my JC days, I had never seen him since, until when I was in yr 2 and saw him on a Phantom bike similar like mine in NTU. Then subsequently, he upgraded to a CBR400 when I saw him near the road junction outside my place.

His name was Christopher Tan. I remember him as a nice, quiet guy.. Quiet.. maybe it was because I didn't know him well enough.

This is not an eulogy, but I guess this post serves to remind me that life's pretty fragile (esp on a bike) and death doesn't really mean a lot until it happens to someone whom you know..

Stop taking people for granted.

Was about to leave for school when I saw a four leave clover among the clovers I planted~ It'll probably be the last four leave clover I see since the whole bunch of clovers are wilting away~

Feeling lucky, I left for school but since it's Deepavali, library isn't open~ went to NIE canteen instead..

Feeling bored, I left school and took a scenic detour home.. Instead of KJE, I rode to Lim Chu Kang, wanderin around.. passing at farms and nature reserves..

Then more detour til I ended up at Kranji War Memorial.. and snapped a few pictures~

I was working in the garden this weekend and my wife was about to take a shower. I realized that I couldn't find the rake.I yelled up to my wife, "Where is the rake?" She couldn't hear me and she shouted back, "What?" I pointed to my eye, and then I pointed to my knee and made a raking motion.Then my wife wasn't sure and said "What?"I repeated the gestures." Eye - Kneed - The Rake" My wife replied that she understands and signals back. She first points to her eye, next she points to her left breast, then she points to her backside, and finally to her crotch.
Well, there is no way in hell I could even come close to that one. Exasperated, I went upstairs and asked her, "What the hell was that?"

Have you ever had an "Eureka" moment? A moment where suddenly something seems clear to you?

I had a few b4~

Today I have one~ I finally understand the concept of "fulfillment"; the feeling you get when you accomplished something you enjoy. I know that feeling, sometimes when it's there, it's there, you never stop to think about it, you never stop to ask her name. Today, I finally know, it's fulfillment.

You don't necessary have to accomplish great things to feel fulfilled, "fulfillment" is there when you finished watching a film, playing a video game or even just spend time laying around~ when the mood suits you.

I must emphasize on mood because we are not consistent creatures (or maybe just me). I may feel fulfill after playing a game today, but tomorrow I may not.

And this is how I feel right now, "empty", which got me thinking and thus the "Eureka" moment.

I've tried everything, watching movie, channel surfing, vidoe games..

nope~ can't seem to find the fulfillment I felt yesterday...

Maybe fulfillment only comes when you are enjoying yourself after a hard day of work (I finished my 1st tutorial since the start of the sem yday, heh).

While driving my mum and aunts to the third temple for Vesak Day prayers, the damn car's front left wheel BURSTED. It freaking bursted~! And I was left with an almost out of control car heading down AYE.

But thanks to my superior driving skill(bah, shuddap), I managed to stop the car in the middle of the chevrons in AYE and changed the damn tire~ seriously, not fun and very greasy.

This car of mine(or rather, my dad) really lets me experience all kinds of situations from pushing start a car in the middle of Bugis Street to changing tire on the AYE.

I wonder what's next.

It's just one of those days~

You start out your day by to paying $200 worth of bills <--- morale dropped by 40 points.

While on the train squeezing with all the commuters, you realise you left your thumbdrive sticking in your home desktop - there goes your plan for completing the report today <--- morale dropped by 20 points

and then you realise other than your report, the stuff you need for your other work is also in the thumbdrive <--- morale dropped by 20 points

so you decide to write your logbook instead..

Anyway, I've just enrolled in elementary guitar course at Choa Chu Kang Community Center. It's about time for the guitar to do something useful, after sitting in the corner of the room for nearly 10 years. <-- so much for backfired sacarism.

And after IA, I'll probably enrol in Class 4 license classes too~
We'll see how it goes~ I hope I can financially manage it.

i like weekend mornings~ to be exact~ the waking moments in the morning~

someone living above me always plays the piano~ and i get awakened and serenaded by the smoothing melodies in the quiet morning~

this morning was "Ballade pour Adeline "~ it was beautiful~

juz came back from a childhood fren's wedding dinner~ we used to be very good pals~ best buddy~ but somehow, we lost touch~ and i realise, how hard it is for me to mantain a healthy and true frenship with ppl.. wonder if he'll let me be his bestman if we still mantained contact..

anyway, seems like after every wedding dinner (or during), i feel rather "empty".. and this particular concurred a few thoughts.. about myself~ one being hte a/m about my problem w frenship.. and the other, abt me, doing things, and quitting half way when things aren't going my way..

during the wedding, they ran a slide show of the groom's life.. an one particular picture struck me.. he was posing in his taekwando gee, a black belt~ to think i started learning taekwando with him~ and somehow, becoz of the fear of failing my promotion test~ i quitted.. never to don a black~ i could have gotten a black w him~

i quitted from a lot of stuff.. becoz i felt i wasn't good enuff... not good enuff to be at the top.. so i quitted.. sounds a bit kiasu.. but this is the kind of expectation i have for myself~ and i always can't live up to it.

now, looking back, wad have i really accomplished that i should be really proud of? nothing..

no no, this is not the "wallowing in self-pity" club~
